Colleen Patterson awarded Ulster Colleges Camogie All Star Award 2010

Oisín CLG would like to congratulate Colleen Patterson on achieving the Ulster Colleges Camogie All Star Award.

Grainne McGoldrick presented Colleen with the award at The Elk Toomebridge.

In addition to this award, Colleen was also presented with the  Joint U16 Player of the Year and the U18 Player of the Year with the Ruairi Ógs Cushendall. Colleen captains the current school’s  U16 Camogie Team (St. Killians) and plays for the current U16 Antrim County Team.

She is one of the youngest recipients to be presented with The Ulster Colleges Camogie All Star Award at the very young age of 15 years while in her 5th year at school and no doubt will be a strong contender for a 2nd and 3rd All Star Award in her 6th and 7th year.

Unfortunately the Oisíns did not have the numbers to field a camogie team and Colleen made the correct decision to move to the adjoining club the Ruairi Ógs to play the game she has excelled in.

Colleen we wish you good luck for the future with the Ruairi Ógs, your school and the Antrim County Team. The Committee and Members of Oisín CLG and no doubt your family are very proud of you indeed.

Well Done Colleen!
