Annual Feis na nGleann over the weekend 1st to 3rd July.

As part of Con Magees GAC Centenary Celebrations they are hosting the Annual Feis na nGleann over the weekend 1st to 3rd July.

Along with the usual matches and displays they will have the ‘Roger Casement Mile Race’ at 5.30 pm on Sunday 3rd July, between the Senior Camogie and Senior Hurling finals. This race is open to all runners over 18 years of age. They would love to see as many clubs as possible represented and wearing club colours in the hope of victory and having their name and club engraved on the Roger Casement Trophy. All the winners from the Cow Clap Challenge.Congratulations to Pauline who won the big one.Thanks to the staff on the health check bus ,the U10 blitz hurlers and mentors and also to the girls who who kept the tuck shop going as well as the lads who kept the burgers coming throughout the day .Special thanks to Liam Black for supplying the star of the show. Mrs Dairy Luck did her business eventually to the delight of the crowd and Pauline.Thanks also to everyone who came along and supported the club and helped make the day the great success that it was.The Bubble Ball will definitely be back.

Roger Casement scholarship from North Antrim GAA

North Antrim are offering three £50 scholarships for young people who are attending the Gaeltacht in 2016. If anyone is interested in applying, to the open draw, for the scholarships, can they email the name, and dob and contact details, of the person attending the Gaeltacht to Frank McCarry NA Secretary..

Deadline for application is 31st May.

Limerick Institute of Technology Hurling Summer Camp 2016

Limerick Institute of Technology would like you to know about their Hurling Summer camp which is running again in 2016.
In its 4th year The camp is run out of LIT’s Limerick campus, the children will stay for 3 nights and 4 days where all their food, accommodation and evening activities will be included in the price, whilst also receiving some top class coaching from some of the country’s best hurlers and there is also a limited edition top also.
The camp runs from 9am on Tuesday 26th of July until 2pm Friday the 29th of July.
