Friends of Glenariffe Members are invited to their AGM on Sunday 13th October at 4pm in the Pavilion.

OISIN CLG are running our now annual trip to Croke Park for the All Ireland Hurling Semi-Final on Sunday 18^th August.

We shall be leaving the school in Waterfoot at 9am and hope to return at approximately 9.30pm. Children should bring a packed lunch to eat before the match and some Euros to stop at Burger King on the return journey from Dublin. If all children going on the trip can wear club colours it helps our mentors identify them.

OISIN CLG are running our now annual trip to Croke Park for the All Ireland Hurling Semi-Final on Sunday 18^th August.

This will be for P3 (from Sept 12) children and above. The cost of the trip will be £15 per head. This will include return bus to Dublin and match ticket. There will be space for 60 juveniles and 10 mentors/adults.

We shall be leaving the school in Waterfoot at 9am and hope to return at approximately 9.30pm. Children should bring a packed lunch to eat before the match and some money to stop at Burger King on the return journey from Dublin.

Anyone wishing to go must have paid their money to Padraig McIlwaine by Monday 12^th August.

All gate proceeds will be donated to NI Hospice by Oisín CLG. The Hospice in Belfast is no longer fit for purpose. The new build – Somerton Hospice – will be the hub of excellence in palliative education and research in N.Ireland. Your support to NI Hospice at this match would be very much appreciated

Oisín CLG are hosting The Farm Families Health Checks Programme.

This one stop mobile facility, offering free 10 – 15 minutes health assessments by qualified nurses is on Marquee Saturday 13th July 11am – 4pm in the hurling field. Leaflets will be distributed in the parish and details posted on the village and chapel notice boards prior to the event.

Although farmers and their families are the targeted audience the wider community will not be refused access. Following the past harsh winter, which impacted on many, especially farmers and their families, it is expected that this event will be well attended.
