The Annual General Meeting 2019 of Glenariffe Oisín CLG will take place at 3pm on Sunday 24 November 2019 in Glenariffe Community and Recreation Centre. Any motions/recommendations and all nominations to fill the posts detailed below, are now invited from fully paid up
club members.
Motions/ recommendations and any nominations to fill the posts detailed below, all which must have a proposer and seconder, should be submitted to the club secretary no later than 13 November 2019 so that an agenda can be issued at least 10 days in advance of the meeting. Fund The Fence 100 Club Draw

FUND THE FENCE – SUPPORT YOUR CLUB.
The club have launched a unique 100 club draw to help finance the planned new fence at our pitch in Glenariffe. Ticket sales are limited to 100 only so you have great chance of winning.The draw will take place at our Annual Presentation Dinner early in the New Year.First prize is £2500 and second prize is £500 but you have got to be in it to win it ! Why not share the cost of a ticket with friends and family ?

Coach Foundation Training

The club has arranged, and is funding, safeguarding and foundation level coach training in GCRC as follows :-

Safeguarding Wed 20th Nov 7pm-10pm

Thursday 28th Nov 7pm-10pm Foundation Hurling part 1

Saturday 30th Nov 9.15am-2pm Foundation Hurling part 2

Attendance on all three days is required in order to pass.

This is a great opportunity for members considering coaching in the club and it will be delivered by Antrim/Ulster GAA tutors.

LGFA Parents Week

LGFA in association with Sport Ireland are supporting the initiative Parents in Sport Week, which takes place next week 7th – 13th of October and would like to reach all parents to spread the word about how beneficial parents can be to youth sport, and we need your help please.
We are encouraging clubs to upload the attached PDF and Parent’s Week Messages to their websites and/or print out the attached poster and display in club which outlines the new Sports Parents Promise which has been launched on the CPSU website to help parents keep their child safe and happy in sport and what they can do to get more involved.
